Songs From Tonight's Second Episode Of NBC's New Critically Acclaimed Musical Drama 'Smash' Available Today On Itunes
Universal City, CA (Top40 Charts/ Columbia Records) With tonight's second episode broadcast of NBC's new critically acclaimed musical drama series "Smash" (Mondays, 10-11 p.m. ET), NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products and Columbia Records are making select songs available today on the iTunes store https://www.itunes.com/NBCSmash. Each week, NBC also will provide episode recaps, games, photos, video, musical performance highlights and even fan challenges at https://www.nbc.com/smash.

The three songs available for tonight's episode of "Smash," entitled "The Callback," include:

"Call Me" - written by Anthony Clement Bozewski, Deborah Harry and Giorgio Moroder; performed by Katharine McPhee

"The 20th Century Fox Mambo" - written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman; performed by Katharine McPhee

"Crazy Dreams" - written by Barry George Dean, Carrie Underwood and Troy Verges; performed by Megan Hilty.

In "The Callback," tonight's episode of "Smash," Ivy (Megan Hilty) and Karen (Katharine McPhee) jump through hoops for the brilliant but temperamental director Derek Wills (Jack Davenport) as they pursue the role of a lifetime. Meanwhile, Julia (Debra Messing) and her husband Frank (Brian d'Arcy James), are frustrated by the red tape of an international adoption process, and Eileen (Anjelica Huston) fights to finance her new musical in the midst of an acrimonious divorce. Christian Borle, Raza Jaffrey and Jaime Cepero also star.

"Smash," which debuted Monday, February 6 with the best young-adult rating (a 3.8 in adults 18-49) for any 10 p.m. drama on any network so far this season, is a musical drama that celebrates the beauty and heartbreak of the Broadway theater as it follows a cross section of dreamers and schemers who all have one common desire - to be a "Smash." Evolving from an idea of executive producer and multiple Emmy and Oscar winner Steven Spielberg and created by executive producer/acclaimed playwright Theresa Rebeck, the series is also executive-produced by Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

"Smash" is a production of Universal Television in association with DreamWorks Television and Madwoman in the Attic.
