New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Troy D. Official Website) In the Bottom of my Heart music video, Troy D. reminds us that pictures say a thousand words. He uses visual imagery to invite us into his memory and his natural constant flashes of daydreaming. Just three weeks after his performance at the 2012 Chicago Music awards as a nominee, he wrote the concept of the video and let us into his head. What starts out as a solo piano practice at home, turns into a shared experience between him and the Mrs. in the end. The video gives us quite a bit to think about.
The song is a vocally expressive, emotionally charged ballad that almost makes you daydream when you're listening to it. He says, "Too many runs and too much power would take away from the song and a complex video would have the same effect." It's not complex and it says a lot. The video compliments the self-written ballad that tells us that there's a love coming from the bottom of my heart, but the video shows us why.
"Genuine quality time can do a lot for a relationship. You can recreate a spark right at home." We're not encouraging you to buy a piano, but the video gives us the lovers & best friends feel with the girl and guy next door (if this still exists). He says, "There's late night talks at home, real moments away from the world, and an intimate touch with the piano- I mean I can't just let anybody play with my piano." The chemistry mixed with a little bit of Troy D.'s playful nature and charm is a lighter side since Troy D.'s latest eclectic and sexy dance single, "S'wet."
