Seaport Music Records Releases 7" Vinyl Debut By American Royalty
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Seaport Music Records) Seaport Music Records, the imprint of the producers behind the acclaimed Seaport Music Festival in lower Manhattan, today, announced the release of the limited-edition 7" vinyl (200 pressed) Matchstick by the Los Angeles-based psychedelic blues-rock trio American Royalty.

American Royalty's vinyl debut coincides with the digital release of the band's inaugural EP Matchstick out February 14 on Guns In the Sun Records, as well as the accompanying video featuring the work of Brooklyn-based artist, Jeff Scher.

Available at Insound.com, the 7" vinyl features the title track "Matchstick" on the A-side, and "I've Been Fighting for You" on the B-side.

More information on the 7" release is available at SeaportMusicRecords.com.
American Royalty is comprised of lead vocalists Billy Scher and Marc Gilfry whose eerie, soulful harmonies combine with guitars, samplers, drums, and synths in an unlikely blending of dark garage rock with poignant electronica, resulting in what has been critically dubbed "an impossible cross between The Black Keys and Boys Noize."

American Royalty kicks off a 12-city tour on February 16 with an EP Release Party at Townhouse Venice in Los Angeles and concludes in Austin during the upcoming South by Southwest music conference, where they will perform in multiple showcases, as well as at unofficial day parties including one hosted by the Seaport Music Festival with The Wick music fortress in Brooklyn.

Touted for an unorthodox stage set up and explosively energetic live performances, American Royalty made their mark on the touring circuit this past year, playing on both coasts with friends and advocates Drop the Lime, Superhumanoids and Hanni El Khatib, opening for Metronomy and Digitalism to Kisses, and sharing festival bills with the likes of The Flaming Lips, Snoop Dogg and Thievery Corporation.
