New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Today, AOL's Spinner premiered "Being Alone," a quiet storm-inspired new track featuring singer-songwriter Robert Francis from Joachim Cooder's LA-based collective 'Love on a Real Train,' (Aeronaut Records, April 3).
"Somewhere during the recording of 'Being Alone,'" says Cooder, "we got it in our heads that we were channeling Sade. "So we got real smooth-jam oriented—I think Robert recorded most of his parts lying down." The result, according to Spinner, is "a laid-back tune in the vein of Bon Iver, with a subtle yet propulsive forward motion."
