Rachael Yamagata and The Parlotones are among the artists slated to participate in The Quantum Collective's "Southwest Invasion" during the South By Southwest Interactive, Film and
Music Conference and Festival in Austin, TX, being held March 9 - 13, 2012.
The Quantum
Collective is a new collaboration between an innovative group of entertainment, new media and consumer brand companies that aim to expand awareness for artists and brands through their collaborative efforts. Together, they have extensive experience in artist and content development, digital and social media marketing, event production and cross-branding exposure.
The "Southwest Invasion" includes a series of artist showcases at downtown Austin venues, including Rusty's and Chuggin' Monkey, as well as a host of industry mixers and an invite-only press luncheon at a private house in downtown Austin, dubbed "Section 101 Launchpad." The keystone event of the "Southwest Invasion" will take place on the Rooftop Plaza at Whole Foods Market (Lamar). See the schedule below.
Quantum
Collective member Talenthouse is currently hosting a competition to give bands an opportunity to perform at one of the "Southwest Invasion" events and gain unique exposure to brand partners. Interested artists can enter at https://www.talenthouse.com/perform-for-quantum-collective.
