Jess is no stranger to television. Her original music can be heard on more than 30 network T.V. shows including Law & Order, NCIS, CSI, Two And A Half Men, Damages, FX, CBS, the CW, and The Food Network. Jess is a sought after songwriter whose skills appeal to all genre of musicians and producers due to her ability to find a song for every situation. Jess was presented the ASCAPLUS Songwriter Award in 2008 in recognition for her skills.

Born in Detroit and living in New York, the heart of Jess' music is rooted in Motown soul with a New York attitude. She began her career touring with the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin for three years as a backup singer and also performed with her relative Mitch Ryder.
