The No1 DJ In Singapore Creates History

The No1 DJ In Singapore Creates History

Singapore (Top40 Charts/ DJ JT Official Website) DJ JT, the number one DJ in Singapore grabs headlines once again as he creates another historical landmark in his career by landing three songs he released in just two weeks at the number one spot for the best remix of that particular song title. All of which remained at number one for 2 weeks in a row, an outstanding feat for any remix DJ of this generation.

His latest remix on the songs "Breathe" by Skrillrex, "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry, and "Part of Me" by Katy Perry became chart topping hits as the No. 1 Best remix for three consecutive weeks after its release. This feat made DJ JT the first and only Singaporean DJ to break through the international music scene working at par with other renowned Swedish and Dutch powerhouse DJs.

DJ JT, more popularly known as The Remix Master, was born in Singapore and started his musical career in New York City. At the early stage of his career, he was particularly enthralled by genres like Trance, Electro, Dubstep, Techno and anything with a "nasty bass-line" as he would call it. With his inborn passion for music and his exposure to global trends in the genre, he started amalgamating crazy beats in an application called "MTV Music Generator" over the past decade. This paved way for him to explore the nooks and crannies of this grind as he progressed into remix programs like FL Studio, Native Instruments, Nord, Cakewalk and Pro-tools. He creates remixes of songs in the Billboard Top 40 charts as his specialty.

His musical work has earned him an international award such as No. 1 DJ in Singapore in 2011 by the Winter Music Conference, nomination for New Remix Artist category in International Dance Music Awards and nomination for New Electronic Dance Producer in American Radio Association Awards.
