New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Maelstrom PR) With the inspiration of the steam punk era of the 20's and the world influence of various experimental soundscapes, musician Dan Exactly has begun collaborating and arranging new material for his upcoming album with producers Mark Radice (Eddie Money, Cheap Trick, Gene Simmons) and world music artist/ percussionist Najib Bahri having worked with a number of famous world artists in the middle and far east.
Radice has high hopes for the album "I have the dual role with Mr. Exactly of being a co-writer/producer." states Radice. "As a producer it's my job to capture the "essence" that is...Dan Creating a soundscape that compliments his songs is the goal He really wants to put in all it takes, 24/7."
"Mark Radice is an amazing talent who is a phenomenal singer / songwriter himself" states Exactly. I learned so much from him in regards to writing songs and he let me express myself as an artist as well. His background is amazing as well being a chief songwriter / session musician working for and with CBS Records, in his own right he also had an amazing career being signed to Paramount and RCA starting when he was 8 yrs. old.
Percussionist Najib Bahri is just as excited to be in the studio with Exactly. "I do love working with Dan Exactly on his upcoming cd, Dan's music it is a wide range of an international world-beat in many time measures and rhythms and that's what makes the arrangements and music come together."
Exactly's debut album will be released on Wooden jazz records with a title and a release date to be determined in the coming months.
