John Moloney, New Irish Singer, Releases Album Grace Featuring Irish Ballads And Traditional Church Hymns Perfect For St. Patrick's Day 2012
Reading, PA (Top40 Charts / John Moloney Music) Until now, John Moloney's artistry has always been a feast for the eyes. Now he turns to the ears as the master of crystal art releases his first album of songs. The story of how the second generation Waterford glass blower found his way to the US and to Nashville is a story of love: lost and found. His debut album GRACE was recorded in Nashville and produced by A-list guitarist/singer/songwriter Thomm Jutz (Nanci Griffith, Mary Gauthier).

Perfect music for St. Patrick's Day 2012, GRACE, brings a collection of familiar hymns and Irish ballads to new life, giving them a comforting bluegrass sound. The combination mirrors Moloney's own life and a journey that invites the listener to dream as bravely as he has and with as much hope.

John Moloney was born in Waterford, Ireland, educated by the De La Salle Brothers and engaged by the city's legendary crystal brand who in his eighteen years there became a master glass blower. In 1996, after the sudden death of his wife, Pauline, he moved with his two young children to the United States, now living in Reading, Pa.

"Each song on this album has a special meaning in my life and I'm finding that there are many people with stories relating to these cherished songs. We all sang Let There Be Peace on Earthin the seventies and it has never been more appropriate than in 2012. It seems everyone has a story to tell about the song Danny Boy, (which a legendary Irish musician refers to as 'The Irish Our Father'). And, I remember well, the beautiful rendition of Eagle's Wings that was performed at my wife, Pauline's funeral. These are all songs from my heart," Moloney reflects.

GRACE is dedicated to the memory of Pauline Cooper Moloney.
John Moloney will be appearing locally at events in Pennsylvania during the St. Patrick's Day 2012 season. Moloney is also hosting a special tour of Ireland in October 2012.

All proceeds of the Our Father ringtone are being donated to support the technology fund at LaSalle Academy, Shillington, Pa, a local Catholic elementary school that Moloney's children have all attended.
