More About JB and the Moonshine Band:
Gabe Guevara (drums) Hayden McMullen (lead guitar) Chris Flores (bass guitar/harmony vocals) and JB (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) make up JB and the Moonshine Band. Willing to do whatever it took to get their songs played on
Texas radio, JB and the boys gathered a jerry-rigged PA system, hopped into a rented U-Haul van, and traveled through East Texas, gaining a local following. The group's big break came while opening for Average Joes Entertainment recording artist
Colt Ford in March of 2010. The band's country sound and outlaw attitude immediately caught the attention of Lex Lipsitz and Colt's team, and a few months later, JB and the Moonshine Band signed a record deal with Average Joes.
Their debut album, Ain't Goin Back to Jail, premiered in
September of 2010 with their single, "Love Don't Let You Decide," bursting into the Top 10 on the
Texas Country
Radio charts. The band has sold over 60,000 digital downloads and has had over three Top 20 songs to date (TEXAS Country
Radio Charts). JB serves as the band's lyricist, writing and singing all of the songs on their albums.
