"San Diego's Rock Shaman" Makes NYC Debut At The Studio, April 4
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) HARGO, the California four-piece led by "San Diego's rock shaman" (San Diego Reader) Hargo Khalsa, makes their New York debut with an intense live show including songs from their "provocative" (American Songwriter) full-length debut, 'Out of Mankind,' at The Studio at Webster Hall on Wednesday, April 4.

Khalsa's early exposure to Indian classical music, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan, as well as years spent abroad, has resulted in the band's charged release, featuring the single "Regeneration X," currently racing up the CMJ Top 200 chart. The last songwriter to work with Phil Spector, Khalsa combines brooding lyrics with layered guitars and dense vocal harmonies, with "more than a passing resemblance to John Lennon" (San Diego Reader).
