New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ JMD Distribution) We are looking for the music to give us chills and to take us to a place that evokes emotion. You can't help but be entranced with the eclectic and swoon-worthy sounds of UngerRose, the musical brainchild of pioneer entrepreneurs Ed Unger and Jen Rose. By day, Ed Unger and Jen Rose are savvy business people, but by night their creativity traverses the world of music. 'We are hugely inspired by our experiences and write about the world around us', they say.

This March 2012, UngerRose debuts their album 'Closer to Heaven' under Gratitude Productions. It is all about fresh electronic dance concepts which they collaborated on through their own recording studios. Ed explains their process: 'We like to pass our tracks back and forth until the song develops a chemistry we both can agree on… I never know what's going to happen - it is so much fun!'

Fun is just one of the positive elements to the duo UngerRose's sound. It has been a conscious decision to make music that's not stale, stagnant, and hopeless. 'We decided in the beginning that we weren't just going to vent through our music. That we would have a positive and uplifting message no matter what subject we were writing about', Jen says.

Influenced by electric sounds coming from Miami and Europe - trance, electro, and house are at the forefront of their playlists - UngerRose capture the dance club vibe without discarding classic song structure and giving a nod to pop music. As UngerRose, Ed and Jen can express their passions for life through songwriting that's laced with bass heavy house, trance soundscapes, and electro grooves.

Ed and Jen are also staunch supporters of sharing. In fact, they mentor and teach up-and-coming producers through the Computer Music Production School (www.computerproducer.com). They also offer high definition sample libraries and drum kits for aspiring music producers around the world through Gotcha Noddin Sample Libraries (www.gotchanoddin.com).

Experience the good vibes of UngerRose by downloading their album 'Closer to Heaven' at iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves, a partner of Universal Music Group.
