Korn, Trivium To Play Golden Gods 2012

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) The fourth annual Revolver Golden Gods awards show will be held on Wednesday, April 11 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA, starting at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST. Tickets to the show are nearly sold out, but it will also be broadcast on XBOX Live, as well as on the XBOX and Revolver Facebook pages.

Rush will be receiving the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award at the show; it will be presented to them by Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D. Said Rush drummer Neil Peart, "We are honored and delighted to receive this honor—especially because it will be presented by Jack and Kyle. Our 'lifetimes' are not over yet, and we dearly hope our 'achievements' are not either, so I suppose you could say that to us this is the 'So Far, So Good' award."

Trivium and Korn will both be performing at the show, and are nominated for awards as well. Fans can vote for their favorite bands at goldengodsawards.com.
