New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ C-Dub MuZiK) Corey Washington, President of C-Dub MuZiK, announced the release of the debut single "Git It" from Pittsburgh Hip hop artist C-Dub. The track is available today through ReverbNation or Facebook. Download the song free of charge by becoming a fan of C-Dub's on ReverbNation or by liking his Facebook page. "Git It" is the first track from C-Dub's upcoming CD, which is slated for release this summer.
"Git It" is one of those tracks that you can't just listen to - you have to get up and dance. The track is banging, and is perfect for the club, cruising, or just kicking it with friends. Nicely mixed and quite original, it's both laid back and up in your face at the same time. With a style reminiscent of Sean Kingston, New Boyz, and Lil Wayne, "Git It" will get you and you'll be glad it did." (MusicDish)
C-Dub began making music at the tender age of 8, first mastering the guitar, followed by the piano and drums. As a teenager and young adult, he divided his time between music and playing football professionally for the Steubenville Stampede of the Indoor Football League. After studying music at Hudson Valley Community College in New York and Full Sail University, music became his first love and he devoted himself to it full-time. Shortly thereafter, C-Dub MuZiK was established as a subdivision of GMC (Get Money Clique). While his musical influences growing up included Al Green, The Temptations, and The O'Jays, C-Dub was also drawn to Scarface, Jay-Z, and T.I., and Hip hop became the genre of his choice for expressing his musical creativity and talent.
"I've been making music for a very long time, and I'm absolutely committed to making songs that are unique and that people can get up and dance to and enjoy. For me, it's not about the money - this is my passion. Being a musician and an entertainer is more than what I do. It's who I am."
C-Dub is currently performing at local venues in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. "Git It" can be purchased through ReverbNation or downloaded at no cost through Facebook and ReverbNation.
