Miles To Go With Ed Mils... "Album The Scarecrow" Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mitosis Recordings) Rap emcees are a dime and dozen. But only a few can truly stand out and from the hordes of emcees, there's one that can go the extra mile. He is Ed Mils aka De Slim.

Born De Juane Eastland, Ed Mills began his emcee career as a kid looking up to his older brother, an emcee himself and even a writer. In grade school, Ed spewed raps and rhymes penned by his brother and he was considered the best rapper - in his playground. He started out small, but that would be the beginning of something big. Ed wrote his first hip-hop and rap track, sampling The O'Jays song Back Stabbers while a high school freshman. He transferred to different schools before he even graduated high school but this would enhance his abilities in performing.

To date, Ed Mils is not just a hip-hop and rap maestro, he's even founded his own record label called Mitosis Recordings. As CEO, Ed's schedule is packed: from family activities, entertainment paperwork, recording/production sessions, interviews, and even XBOX 360 tournaments. As Ed evolves into the emcee he is now, he also helps other artists to realize their full potential. One of Mitosis Recordings' projects is an album for The CaliGatorz which consist of hip-hop and rap artists Da YoungStarr, Dog Matik-D, Silent Rage, Dizzy, Don tha 6'9, Gotta Eat, Kuddy Lowkey, Cas, Big Sneaky A.D., Ed Mils, X.T. (The King of Slump), Daze Calhoun, C-Razy, Mac Loco, Deviasi, and D-Meezy.

He is a man who wears many hats, but Ed Mils was also able to record his very own album titled Tha Scarecrow. He completed the record while he was in the SoCal area doing a music mission.

Nothing can stop the rise of Ed Mils and if you're into it, download his music at iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves, a partner of Universal Music Group.
