The Sons Announce International Release, European Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Sons Official Website) British indie rockers The Sons, dubbed as "England's Best Kept Secret" by Ivan Van Bellegham on keysandchords.com, are making their break-out international debut this April with an exclusive release of their latest single and a return to the stage for an eighteen-date tour in Western Europe.

On April 6, the band will issue an international release of the single "Scientists" from their second studio album The Prime Words Committee. This marks the first worldwide release for the band, and to commemorate the occasion, the band is making the song available as a digital EP that will include three previously unreleased songs. The EP, entitled Scientists, will be available for purchase from iTunes, as well as other online music retailers, beginning April 6.

And, after a two-year hiatus, The Sons will embark on a European Tour to play live for their devoted, rapidly growing fan-base across England, France, Germany, Switzerland and Holland. The band will kick off the tour to a hometown crowd in Derby, England at The Venue on April 7, and finish up with two London shows - The Good Ship on Saturday, April 28 and a VIP-studded showcase at The Dublin Castle on Sunday, April 29.

The Sons is a five-piece indie rock band hailing from Derby, England, comprised of Paul Herron, Lee Blades, Stewart English, Roger Millichamp and Steven Herron. Drawing from a wide variety of influences - from Brit Pop to Alternative Rock, R&B, and Folk - their songs blend thought-provoking lyrics with equally complex, highly melodic instrumentation. Known for their clever songwriting, high-energy live shows and witty, charismatic, sometimes zany antics, the band members delight fans by poking fun at themselves as well as their audience. Since 2007, The Sons have released two full-length albums and toured Europe extensively. They are signed to Popup Records in Continental Europe and Cannon Fodder Recordings in all other global territories. The band is represented by Magnolia Artist Management in the US.

The Prime Words Committee is available through iTunes.com, Amazon.com, Amoeba Records Hollywood, and select music retailers. Go to www.the-sons.com for updates, detailed touring information and to read more about The Sons and The Prime Words Committee.
