LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ ERRORS Official Website) Could ERRORS feel more vindicated for the new direction they took on Have Some Faith In Magic? Plaudits have arrived in droves for the Scottish three-piece in the wake of their decision to push towards a more overtly instrumental pop direction. Intelligent, intricate and yet brimming with earworm melodies, the Glaswegians' third album was a triumph as they loosened up their previously more syncopated sound and allowed newly incorporated textures such as vocals and warm drones to twist their tracks into new and diverse configurations.
Transferred to the live setting, the newly organic feel of Have Some Faith In Magic has meant a similarly shape shifting experience live, with the group now equally adept at filling the early hours dance floor as they are the Tuesday night concert venue. The group have announced a new series of dates that take in everything from playing to a roller skating ring in Sheffield, to a surely massive show in Glasgow's cavernous Arches, just down the hill from where ERRORS host their own intimate club night The
Black Tent at Nice N' Sleazy. In many ways it's the mining of underground blog sounds for their DJ sets there that have informed both 'Tusk' and the song set around it as a whole, for ERRORS though, they themselves seem set to go over ground in a very big way.
