Kent, Ohio (Top40 Charts/ Ryan Kralik Official Website) Ryan Kralik announced today that he is in the studio working on new music that will be released in 2012. Inn late 2011, Kralik had 2 very big releases that were widely acclaimed and received very favorable reviews from music critics and fans alike. "No Agenda", released in December 2011 is a concept record in support of the then popular Occupy movement was recorded with many well known Rock N Roll musicians including drummer Dave Krusen of
Pearl Jam, Rick "The Bass Player" Rosas of
Neil Young Band and
Joe Walsh fame, Keith Lowe of the Seattle band, Brad and Michael G. Ronstadt, world-renowned cellist and songwriter. Kralik has announced that both Dave Krusen and Rick Rosas are in the studio as well working on these new songs. In an excerpt from an upcoming magazine interview Kralik said, "No Agenda just turned out beautifully. Beyond anything I could have hoped for. So many people got to hear it and lots of people seem to really like it. And a big part of that is Dave (Krusen) and Rick (Rosas) being a part of it. They're just so damn good and they're so well-respected that it just was gonna take off and it did. So, I asked them to help out on this new bunch of songs and get a little more involved. Dave is pretty much co-producing these tracks and he's been supervising most of the sessions at his studio in L.A. and he's just an unbelievably talented guy so I told him, 'do whatever you want on these'. He's one of the best drummers in Rock N Roll history and then you find out he's also a genius behind the mixing desk...I mean...easy decision. And I think Rick Rosas loves him as much as I do (laughter)".
Kralik said in the same interview that fans can expect some other guest appearances from both well-known Rock Elite as well as lesser-known players that he has been eager to work with. He has been touring extensively in 2012 and said that will remain a primary focus throughout the year. In all, Kralik will perform nearly 100 concert dates in 2012 reaching nearly every state by year's end. "I'm going to be doing some solo dates again with Steve Wilson of The
Black Doves (San Antonio, Texas) who is just a blast to hang out with on the road. It's great to be around guys who have been doing this a while. You know they can kinda show you the ropes...or the nooses (laughter)". The 2012 "No Agenda" tour is sponsored by www.freshsalts.com and
Music Video Production and Web Design firm, fanBASE Video & Web (www.fanbasevideo.com) who will be documenting and releasing video of many live concert performances for free via their website and other services like YouTube.
Kralik also said that there are some shows in the works in support of President Obama's 2012 Presidential Re-Election Campaign. Kralik works with the campaign's Ohio chapter where he is a resident and said that an announcement is expected in the next month or so with details about these events which will presumable include live performances by Kralik and others.
