Blues Rockers "The Lone Crows" Strike A New Chord With Their Debut Album
Minneapolis, MN (Top40 Charts/ Blues Rock PR) Riding the buzz from their premiere single "Moonshine," The Lone Crows are proud to announce the release of their self-titled debut album. Comprised of ten fast and furious tracks, this album has a good mix of jams and radio worthy songs that cross over several genres. The album musically showcases influences that range from 70's Blues rock to early 90's grunge to even 60's Psychedelic rock. "The Lone Crows" shows growth from the band's original style extended jams, spot on instrumentation, and more fleshed out song writing. Singer songwriter Tim Barbeau exorcises his inner demons with everything from soulful belting to banshee like shrieks.

About The Band: Formerly known as the progressive thrash metal outfit "Heart of Bristol", the band spent the first couple years after their formation refining their musical chops. After gracing local Minneapolis venues such as The Beat & Barfly, the band decided on a new musical direction in mid-2011. Combining the blues of Stevie Ray Vaughn, musical prowess of Led Zeppelin, and heavy riffs of Kyuss, the band changed their name to "The Lone Crows" and recorded their debut 3 track demo "The Big Smokey Room". Released on December 2nd to a packed house, the demo thoroughly displayed the band's new sound. By spring 2012, The Lone Crows had headlined several shows at the local venues 400 Bar and The Old Arizona as well as opening for the influential Stoner rock artist Dax Riggs. The Lone Crows are a stunning mix of Blues, Jam, Garage and even heavy Stoner rock styles that culminate in a variety of songs ranging from punishing 14 minute jams to simple soulful ballads.
