Fast-rising London Rapper/Producer Cynikal Unveils Long Awaited Debut Mixtape 'Breakfast'
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ We Plug Good Music) Introducing fast-rising British Asian rapper and producer Cynikal, with his long-awaited debut mixtape; Breakfast. Produced solely by the future Hip-Hop star, along with the inclusion of a number of exceptional rearrangements of some of your favourite Rap songs (including Drake's 'Fear' and Busta Rhymes' 'Show Me What You Got'), the Breakfast mixtape will certainly prove to be essential listening for UK Hip-Hop audiophiles throughout 2012 and for years to come.

By design, Breakfast kicks off with 'Alive' - a soulful yet head-bopping refix of a Little Brother classic. With a dark and honest lyrical undertone, it sets the mood for the mixtape and invites you to delve further into Breakfast. The record also includes a previously released refix of J.Cole's 'Losing My Balance' which continues to be a favourite amongst many fans and critics, as well as new self-produced songs such as 'Dreams' and 'Won't Let You Down' (featuring rising star and lead actress in the Sister Act musical, Cynthia Erivo). The Breakfast culminates in a captivating story teller titled 'The Struggle', which features a guest appearance from emerging R&B/Soul singer Seyi and caps off Cynikal's debut mixtape in superb fashion.

Throughout the 42 minutes of this excellent offering, Cynikal provides a sublime showing of his lyrical dexterities, sharp flow and production qualities that make him one to watch in the UK's burgeoning urban music scene. What's more, you can hear the unparalleled volumes of passion resonating out of every beat, every verse and every song on Breakfast - a rarity within the UK Hip-Hop landscape.

In essence, Breakfast translates into an extremely powerful 10-track debut mixtape from the promising rapper/producer from London's infamous East End.

On the subject of the simple but very poignant mixtape title of Breakfast, Cynikal explains that "it metaphorically reflects exactly where I am in my career - the beginning of a new day".

ABOUT CYNIKAL

The British music landscape in 2012 is currently flourishing from an unrivalled emergence of some exceptional new Hip-Hop and urban talent - from the likes of RoxXxan and Angel to highflying newcomers such as Delilah - and in CYNIKAL, here's introducing the newest addition with a huge difference to that burgeoning list. Born in London, raised in Essex and a graduate of the prestigious Leeds College of Music academy, British Asian Hip-Hop artist and producer Cynikal is certainly not your average rapper/producer nor is he just an ordinary audio wizard.

Garnering over 100,000 views on Youtube as well as receiving early support from UK tastemakers such as DJ Semtex and Ras Kwame, Cynikal has been making music for as long as he can remember - even choosing to study music at university and graduating with a first class - and in the same vein as prolific "performance producers" like Kanye West and Pharrell Williams before him, Cynikal is fast laying the essential building blocks and foundations for huge success and longevity in the game. His other notable achievements include airplay on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network, Kiss FM and Choice FM as well as TV appearances on MTV Base and Channel 4's Dubplate Drama so far in his burgeoning career.

Building up an impressive fanbase over the past twelve months with remarkable performances at Lovebox and Underage Festival alongside the likes of Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Ed Sheeran and Katy B to mention a few, as well as standout performances at the legendary Roundhouse venue in Camden and Southbank Centre (Burban Mela), Cynikal is also fast proving to be an exceptional and well sought after live performer whose stage presence, energy and enthralling showmanship is certainly like none other in UK Hip-Hop. A testament of which can be seen in the rapper/producer's invitation to perform at the prestigious London Jazz venue Ronnie Scott's a record four times making him the only Hip-Hop artist in the venue's 50-year history to do so.

With his debut mixtape Breakfast out NOW and his next project already in the works, you can expect to become more and more acquainted with the mastermind that is Cynikal...
