Los Angeles, California (Top40 Charts/ Carrillo Music) Top billboard recording artist Kelsey B. releases her debut album, "Pop Synth Sex Beat" on Carrillo Music. The first full-length album from Kelsey B is an array of music, including pop, electro, dance and dubstep, showing her lyrics and sultry vocals in a variety of musical mediums.
"Pop Synth Sex Beat tells the story of my life from my departure from my sheltered upbringing in Bakersfield to the wild world of entertainment," Kelsey B. stated, from scandal to love and everything in-between.
"Pop Synth Sex Beat" is was executive produced by veteran producer
Rod Carrillo ( Julissa Veloz, Paulina Rubio, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Donna Summer) and features collaborations with Matt Fox, Lee Dagger of Bimbo Jones (Lady Gaga, Alexis Jordan, Kylie Minogue) Noise Mac, Them Lost Boys and Liam Keegan (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Flo Rida).
"I have had the honor of working with a lot of talented people, but Kelsey is a different breed of artist. She is like a chameleon that can adapt to all musical styles. She has been through a lot and she just keeps getting up, I admire that. Producing this album was very gratifying for me in helping Kelsey to the next level," stated Rod Carrillo.
The message of "Pop Synth Sex Beat" is that if Kelsey B could overcome all that she has in her life, so can anyone. She is not condoning what she talks about in the album, being more informative about her life when she moved to LA and the struggles she went through, from drugs to her rise.
Originally from Bakersfield, California, Kelsey was raised training in percussion, voice, and dance. At age ten she became a professionally working young actress in three different theater companies in town. She moved to LA to major in Theatre Arts at Loyola Marymount University. She graduated magnum cum laude and continued to have great success/reviews in the Los Angeles theater circuit post graduation.
She had been performing her own tracks and collecting young fans in North Hollywood. Her dance tracks "Pool Party" and "Drunk Drama" had her booked at every bar on
Santa Monica Blvd by the summer of 2009, and had producers buzzing about the unsigned artist at WMC in Miami in 2010. Carrillo
Music signed Kelsey B late August 2010 and started shaping the theatrical performer into a pop-dance sensation.
The 16 song album, "Pop Synth Sex Beat" includes her dance hits "
Beauty Queen" and "Boy If You Only Knew."
Kelsey B's album "Pop Synth Sex Beat" is available at all major online music retailers.
