Summer's Biggest Party, The 'Brothers Of The Sun' Tour, With Kenny Chesney And Tim McGraw, Kicks Off In Tampa
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) The party has officially started - the 'Brothers of the Sun' Tour, with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, kicks off tomorrow at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, and is set to reverberate across 20+ U.S. stadiums this summer. The tour, which has already sold nearly 800,000 tickets, boasts a star-studded lineup and is anticipated to be the biggest stadium tour in country music history - or as the Chicago Tribune put it, the "'Watch The Throne' of country music concerts."

Chesney, who has sold more than one million tickets on his last eight tours, also launched last year's 'Goin' Coastal' tour in Tampa and is set for another record-breaking run this year. His thirteenth album, 'Welcome To The Fishbowl,' drops June 19 and includes current single "Come Over," which shipped to radio last week.
McGraw released his latest album 'Emotional Traffic' in January. The three-time GRAMMY winner, who has sold 40 million albums and scored 32 #1 hits in his career, recently announced a new program called HomeFront in partnership with Chase and Operation HomeFront to award mortgage-free homes to wounded military veterans in each tour market.

Also joining Chesney and McGraw on their first tour together in more than a decade will be Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, who are preparing for the release of their new album 'The Lion The Beast The Beat' (June 12, Hollywood Records). Potter last joined forces with Chesney on their platinum duet "You and Tequila," which was nominated for two GRAMMYs and five ACM Awards. Jake Owen, whose 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night' (RCA Nashville) made him one of country music's hottest rising stars in 2011 and most recently, one of Entertainment Weekly's "30 Greatest Artists Right Now," will kick off each show this summer. The title track from Owen's album and his recent single "Alone With You" were back-to-back multi-week #1 singles on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

Aside from the enormous talent of the artists onboard, the 'Brothers of the Sun' Tour, with Chesney and McGraw, will also be a "massive summer jaunt" (EW) from a production standpoint: 283 crew members, 20 buses, and 80 tractor-trailers will travel nearly 20,000 miles over the course of the summer, beginning with the Tampa area's biggest show of the year and concluding with a two-night stand at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA.
