LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ MSO PR) THE OFFSPRING will premiere the video for " Days Go By"-already a top ten hit on the national rock tracks chart- at Offspring.comand Vevo.com. Directed by Lex Halaby, who did the same honors for the band's 2009 "Kristy, Are You Doing Okay?" clip, it seamlessly blends performance footage of the band with scenes shot in the Southern California desert and captures the song's reflective spirit about letting go of the past's hard times and starting anew.
" Days Go By" is the title track of THE OFFSPRING's new studio album, produced by Bob Rock and available June 26 (Columbia Records). The song was a highlight of the group's two recent performances in Southern California: May 5 at the 20th Annual KROQ Weenie Roast Y Fiesta at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine and a special club show May 3 at Alex's Bar in Long Beach. At Alex's Bar, the Huntington Beach, CA band-Dexter Holland (vocals, guitar), Noodles (guitar), Greg K (bass) and Pete Parada (drums)—also performed their 20-year-old Epitaph debut album Ignition in its entirety.
