Joanna Mosca is back with a brand new single,
Dream On Savannah that will be hitting radio stations the first week in July (shipping to radio Monday, June 18th on CDX Volume 548).
Joanna's previous hit, Where Does Good Love Go, was a duet with
Lonestar frontman Richie McDonald, and received praise from both country radio and media. Renowned music critic Robert K. Oermann called the song "...country as grits."
This genuine tune talks about encouragement and inspiration.
Joanna puts a female spin on
Travis Tritt's hit, I'm Gonna Be Somebody.
Dream On Savannah will be off her new EP Let It All Begin, which will be released this Fall and includes "a little bit for everyone," shares Joanna. "We're including six songs on this album…a couple up-tempo tunes to sing along with as well as those ballad songs that will rip your heart out."
Dream on Savannah was penned by Troy Verges (Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, etc), Hilary Lindsey (Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, etc) and Marvin Green (Jimmy Wayne, etc). It's produced by Grammy award-winning country artist Bryan White, who also produced her last single, Where Does Good Love Go, which reached the
Music Row Charts. Country
Music Association named her the "Who New To Watch 2012" artist in CMA Close Up.
This New York native has rediscovered her passion for singing and performing after having successful careers in both nursing and hospital administration. This accomplished woman is now pursuing her lifelong dream of singing country music. Her uncanny ability to fall into many different genres of music including country, adult contemporary and indie-pop enables this vocal powerhouse to attract fans from all walks of life.
