New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blue Pie Records) Adam Purski releases his new single "Hip-Hop Was There". In a search for hip-hop and rap music, Purski finally stumbles upon real hip-hop music. His song speaks of the truth about life as an artist and how no matter what, he will keep doing what he's doing because it's a part of who he is. The song begins with very accentuated strings that combine hip-hop music with something a bit more melodic. Over the top of this, Purski sings 'Hip-Hop Was There' and this is also done in the chorus. Between are his rap versus where his sound resonates that of a blend between Eminem and the Hill-Top Hoods. Just for something different, the song ends with an acoustic instrumental on the guitar; a true fusion of music.
For a 16 year old, this song is extremely well crafted. The concepts and ideas in the song are those you would expect to hear from someone older. You will find yourself singing along to the chorus even once the song has finished. If you listen to it a few times, you might even find yourself trying to rap along to the verses.
