The Dirty Heads Cabin By The Sea Out Now!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Eleven Seven Music) SoCal alt-rockers The Dirty Heads are set to celebrate the release of their top 20 album Cabin By The Sea with a visit to ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, which airs at Midnight in most markets. The appearance will feature the first-ever nationally televised performance of their hit "Spread Too Thin" from JKL's famed Bud Light Outdoor Stage. Cabin, which features guest Del the Funky Homosapien, KyMani Marley and Rome, and Matisyahu (with whom the band is currently on a co-headline North American tour) was globally released on Five Seven Music on June 19th to fantastic reviews. The album debuted at #18 on Billboard's overall chart, the band's highest chart position to date; in addition, the album debuted at #3 on the Independent chart, #4 on Alternative chart and #9 on the overall digital album chart.

The lead single from Cabin By The Sea, "Spread Too Thin," is quickly shaping up to be one of the biggest tunes for summer 2012. Debuted by KROQ LA earlier this spring, the track is currently #13 on the Alternative chart (according to Mediabase) with a cumulative audience of over 40 million listeners. The band recently partnered with MTV to premiere the music video. To watch the video, please click here.

The press is saying:
"Summer 2012 officially has its soundtrack." - Huffington Post

" Cabin is the perfect summer album." - The DeadHub

"June 19 can't come soon enough. That date marks the long-awaited release of the The Dirty Heads' sophomore album, Cabin by the
Sea, which has already spawned a radio hit (lead-off single "Spread Too Thin")." - Orange County Register

"Every time I listen to Cabin by the Sea it takes me away from the daily grind and monotony." - Cincinnati City Beat

"The Dirty Heads pack this album with over an hour's worth of funky reggae beats that definitely needs to be part of your soundtrack this summer." - Record Journal

"It's not easy to blend hip-hop with beach-minded reggae and rock, but don't tell that to the five members of The Dirty Heads. Since forming in Huntington Beach in 2003, the ensemble has championed a good vibes approach that has reached its zenith on the forthcoming Cabin By The Sea." - Desert Star Weekly

Formed in 2003 out of Huntington Beach, CA, The Dirty Heads combine an intriguing mix of hip-hop, reggae and alternative rock with a sunny California swagger. The band released their debut album, Any Port In A Storm in September of 2008, which features the hit track "Lay Me Down," a song that spent eleven weeks at #1 on the Billboard alternative chart, more than any single that year by any other artist. It is an RIAA certified gold single. Rolling Stone touted the 'Heads as one of the year's best new bands and they were among the first bands featured on YouTube's Raw Session. The band most recently performed at KROQ's sold out 20th Annual Weenie Roast y Fiesta in Los Angeles, CA on Cinco de Mayo, which also featured Coldplay, Incubus, Group Love and others.
