Prince will release an exclusive track at his online music store www.npgmusicclub.com. 'Silver Tongue,' the virtual B-side to the third single from the Platinum-Certified 'Musicology' album 'Call My Name,' features music by
Prince and lyrics by Nikka Costa. The song will be available for download at $0.77 for NPGMC members and $0.99 for non-members.
'The United States of Division,' the virtual B-side to 'Cinnamon Girl,' and a live video clip from the current tour 'The ? of U' have been previous exclusive downloads only available at www.npgmusicclub.com.
For a one time fee of $25 for a lifetime membership, members receive free MP3 downloads, concert ticket pre-sales, passes to pre-show/after-parties and special unannounced shows. The NPG Music Club features seven albums of studio and live material, some previously only available to members.
Prince is on tour in support of his Platinum-Certified CD, 'Musicology,' (released April 20 on Columbia Records). The Musicology Tour marks the first major concert tour in six years for Prince and The New Power Generation band. The concert is per4med in the round, with a center stage, allowing for many more great seats in each venue.
Per4ming with Prince are New Power Generation band members John Blackwell (drums), Greg Boyer (trombone), Candy Dulfer (saxophone), Chance Howard (trumpet), Renato Neto (piano and synthesizers), Maceo Parker (saxophone), RAD. (vocals and keyboards), and Rhonda Smith (bass).
