New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Andy Madadian and Shani Rigsbee) Fans of L.A.-based superstar Andy Madadian are eagerly anticipating the star's upcoming performance at the historic Greek Theatre which will feature a Vegas-style motif of global fusion, rhythm and dance. The show also marks the singer's first public performance with his new wife, the American performer and songwriter Shani Rigsbee. The couple will debut their thrilling new single, "DJ," at the event. The show will also include the debut of the humanitarian musical venture "We Hear Your Voice," written and produced by Shani. The unity song will be performed by a veritable cavalcade of some of the world's greatest musical performers, many of whom hail from nations regularly featured on nightly newscasts. Not just Iranian, but Korean, Afghani and Israeli performers will all appear at the Greek for a special filming of the song. Each artist hopes to spread this message of healing painful divides and fostering worldwide cultural exchange and giving voice to the people.
Korean singer Sung Bong Choi surged to national success last year when his performance of "Nella Fantasia," from "Korea's Got Talent," went viral on YouTube with 55 million hits; the youthful manual laborer quickly found himself being labeled "the Korean Susan Boyle." Also from the younger crowd, Israeli kibbutz-born international singer and peace advocate, Liel Kolet will be performing. Liel performed at the White House and has an upcoming PBS special. Ehsan Aman is a highly acclaimed veteran of Afghanistan's "lost" golden age of music. Despite residing in the United States for roughly three decades, Mr. Aman has remained extremely popular in his homeland. The 10 year-old piano virtuoso and composer, Jahan Raymond will accompany the artists.
The song "We Hear Your Voice" is dedicated to the theme of hope and peace. The sound recording planned for International release will also feature Pop Stars
Sonu Nigam of India, Igor Nikolaev and
Yulia Proskuryakova of Russia, and others, in addition to the artists attending the August 4th concert. All proceeds from the digital downloads of the song will be donated to improve children's welfare throughout the world.
