The First Annual Shanghai Punk Festival

(Top40 Charts) Shanghai finally embraces its punk side! The Beijing Punk Festival has been going every summer for nine years now. Thanks to a late-night drunken conversation betwen some crusty punks from Shanghai, Wuhan, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Beijing, it's coming to Shanghai for the first time ever at Yuyintang on Sunday, August 19th.

Japan's The Star Club and The Erections will be joined by local legends Top Floor Circus as well as Loudspeaker, Death to Giants and Dragon Pizza, who will be giving their last performance ever. Misandao (Beijing), Angry Jerks (Nanjing) and The Last Choice (Changsha) complete the lineup for a genre-spanning day of sweaty excesses. Don't miss out!
