New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Sticky Toffee PR) Now 24 years-old and still very much considered an upcoming artist, GT (which stands for "Great Talent"), is no stranger to the stage, studio or radio. During his early days in the music industry, he regularly attended radio sets crafting his skills within the grime scene and played sets on stations such as at Axe Fm, Freeze Fm, Mixing radio, OnTop Fm and Elete Fm.

2008 saw GT release his first solo mixtape entitled 'Tape Pack Vol.1' which received over 5000 downloads during the 'Myspace era'. The second in the 'Tape Pack' series came a year later, entitled 'Tape Pack Vol.2', with So Solid Crew & the Mitchell Brothers playing at the launchparty for the release.

Since then GT has also began perfecting his acting skills with roles at his local theatre (Fairfield Halls) in numerous plays, as well as participating in the British film 'Goldfish Memoirs'. The London star was also behind the filming and directing of a first light film production titled 'Assassination Moonwalker', and he more recently played a cameo in the UK smash hit 'Street Dance 3D'.

In 2010, the gifted MC released his first debut music video entitled 'Best Out Ya Speakers', which was produced by grime hit-maker Skeamz, (previous credits include Chipmunk's debut underground smash 'Who R Ya'). The song was released on the OMA nominated mixtape 'Grinding Sessions'.

Now the multi talented rapper now presents his latest cut, 'C Notes', which looks set to eclipse his previous releases and truly launch GT into the mainstream world. Musically, the single takes you over an vibrant 2-step beat, whilst GTsolo delivers his views and insights into the ever-serious subject matter of financial difficulties that are very relevant in todays economic climate. This is translated brilliantly with the accompanying video for the track. With the use of powerful imagery and a true-to-life storyline, the visual was shot within a variety of close and mid range camera angles allowing the emotion and depth of the song to be captured beautifully, while engaging viewers and highlighting the importance of how relatable the song is, regardless of personal circumstance.

The 2011 OMA nominee, who recently supported Wiley on his nationwide Elusive tour, is now preparing for the release of his brand new album, titled 'Afterhours', with 'C Notes' acting as the perfect warm up for the forthcoming long player.
