Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Hip-hop producer Jimi Kendrix has released the mixtape "Member Only The Instrumental." The project is presented by Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotion and is now available for download.
Jimi Kendrix represents Hollis Queens, New York.
Music has always been a big part of his life as most of his family have careers in the music industry. He was inspired to start producing music after watching his brothers and uncle make beats. While he enjoyed it, at the time producing wasn't his major focus, playing instruments were more his style. While on tour with the Gap Band, he met producer/artist Nokio of Dru Hill. As he watched Nokio in the studio producing tracks, Jimi Kendrix decided to follow his passion and left the band to focus on his producing.
To date, Jimi Kendrix is Grammy nominated and has produced multi-platinum tracks for many artists in the music industry. He has worked with Jay-Z, 50 Cent,
Styles P, Ja Rule, Ashanti, and more. Hit songs include Jay-Z's "I Did It My Way," Ashanti's "Concrete Rose," the
Ruben Studdard debut album, 50 Cent's "I Like The Way She Do It" among others. His songs have been featured on a variety of TV shows including MTV Cribs, True Life, Run's House as well as movies and documentaries.
When he's not making music, he teaches elementary students music at Explore Charter Schools among other non-profit ventures. He also is a partner of the record company Street Radio.
