Ben Arthur Video Premiers Via Huffington Post

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Ben Arthur Official Website) New York singer/songwriter, novelist and producer/host Ben Arthur is readying his sonaBLAST! Records debut If You Look for My Heart available on September 11, 2012. Today, the Huffington Post premiered the video for the title track.

The twelve-song album will be launched simultaneously with Arthur's second novel, also named "If You Look For My Heart." The album features guest appearances from indie hip hop legend Aesop Rock and revered singer-songwriter Rachel Yamagata -- both of whom are featured in the novel as well.

Because of the unique aspect of the two mediums -- an album and novel -- making videos for the songs presented Ben with a unique problem. As he explains to Huffington Post, "In the case of the song 'If You Look for My Heart,' this is about a lonely young man who spends the entire chapter halfway up a tree, hoping to catch a glimpse of a girl he loves through her bedroom window. But this seemed less than compelling without the rest of the book."

With inspiration from his adopted hometown of New York City and friends Matthew Hendershot and dancer Carrie Plew, he created a video that instead captured the themes of the song.

"The loudest echo I hear is frustrated loneliness. The song is about someone who desires and repels love with equal strength."

If You Look for My Heart will be released as an album, a hard cover book, and an integrated eBook on September 11, 2012. Ben will celebrate with a performance at Joe's Pub in New York City on Sunday, September 9th.
