Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Ben Gallaher Music) Ben Gallaher, country music artist, Eagle Scout, and Belmont University junior, is celebrating his newly released, self-titled album with a CD Release Party, August 10, 10-11 p.m., at The Commodore Grille/The Stewarts Weekend Show, 2613 West End Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee.

Showcasing 11 original songs from his April-iTunes released CD, Gallaher will offer equal parts entertainment and "Straight Up Country with an Edge" with a generous dose of string-bending. He will be accompanied by Joe Leavy on rhythm guitar and Kyle Pudenz on fiddle and mandolin.

Gallaher has opened for country artists Ashton Shepherd,
Craig Campbell, and Colt Ford. He has also performed at Pennsylvania's largest correctional institution.
The Pennsylvania native recently received the Arpeggio Award for best role model to youth in the arts, in July from PECAN Inc., a Pennsylvania arts organization. Gallaher received the award at The Forum, a historic theater in Harrisburg, Pa.
