BERLIN/NEW YORK (Locomotive Music) - Locomotive Music unleash another barrel of smoldering metal with Dirty Pounding Gasoline, the debut album from German artists The X-Headz on August 3, 2004.

Originally a hardcore outfit formed in '92, The X-Headz redirected their sound with new vocalist Christoph Birx and the addition of lead guitarist Andreas Peters. Dirty Pounding Gasoline is an aggressive combination of hard edged guitar led metal and deep powerful vocals. The hardcore influences that brought Guido Reuss(Guitars), Mark Neschen(Bass) and Oliver Beck (Drums) together to start the band in the early '90s are still apparent, while adding a more melodic tone to their sound.

The X-Headz have toured all over Europe, playing with everyone from Motorhead to Anthrax. Their 4-track demo CD led to some great European press and the eventual signing to Locomotive. They are currently on the road in Germany in support of their first full length.
