Roger Hodgson Dishes Out Hits On Breakfast In America Tour And Gives A Little Bit More With Latest Single
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Roger Hodgson Official Website) Roger Hodgson, co-founder and original singer-songwriter from Supertramp, kicked off his North American tour last weekend performing to sold out crowds in Vancouver and thousands in Park City, Utah. Enthusiastic fans sang along to his hit songs such as "The Logical Song," "Breakfast in America," "Give a Little Bit," "Take the Long Way Home," "Dreamer," "It's Raining Again," and "Fool's Overture." Hodgson is now working his way across the U.S. - this year marks his largest tour in America since his departure from Supertramp 30 years ago.

New Single - "Give a Little Bit with Children's Choir," recorded earlier this year by Hodgson, was just released as a single on iTunes. Hodgson closes his concerts with "Give a Little Bit," a song with a universal message that is as relevant today as when Hodgson wrote it over 40 years ago.

Many may not know his name but would instantly recognize his voice and the classic hits that are uniting generations at his concerts. Hodgson transports baby boomers back to their youth and gives younger generations a taste of why his heartfelt songs have endured. Other fan favorites include "Hide in Your Shell," "Child of Vision," "Don't Leave Me Now," and "Lord is it Mine." Audiences are once again experiencing the magic and spirit that Hodgson created with Supertramp, a global success that resulted in sales of over 60 million albums. Hodgson's latest CD, "Classics Live," is available through iTunes, and www.RogerHodgson.com.

For his U.S. Breakfast in America Tour Hodgson will be accompanied by a four piece band and promises an assortment of the classics he wrote and originally recorded with Supertramp, as well as select highlights such as "Only Because of You," "Lovers in the Wind, " "In Jeopardy," and "Death and a Zoo" from his five solo album releases.

Journalists and fans agree that Hodgson is at the top of his game, his voice sounding richer and better than ever as he takes the audience on an uplifting musical journey.

"To the adoring fans who rise to their feet as Hodgson and his four-piece backing band take the stage ... it might as well be 1979 all over again." Rolling Stone

"This is the real deal: a legendary music man, in brilliant form and shimmering presence, supported by a tight, terrific band. An evening with Roger Hodgson will raise your standards of concert-going." Huffington Post

"Frequently entertaining the audience with stories about the origins of his songs, Hodgson connects deeply with the fans in a way few stars of his stature do." San Diego Reader

"The power of the music was indisputable with many of the audience in tears of joy at the memories and emotions the songs evoked. It was like seeing Supertramp back in their heyday." Evening Herald

"It was a love fest from the get go..." Montreal Gazette

"All these years I thought I was a Supertramp fan when actually I was and am a Roger Hodgson fan." David Wild, Contributing editor, Rolling Stone
