Neal Schon On The $50 Million Lawsuit: "It's Over. I Win, She's With Me. I Wish Tareq The Best With His Candidacy."
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ LLEWMORC Media & Production Agency) On Monday, August 20, 2012, the divorce between Real Housewives starlet Michaele Salahi and husband Tareq was finalized after almost a year. Also finalized is an agreement between Neal Schon, Michaele Salahi, the rock band Journey and Tareq Salahi regarding Tareq's $50 million lawsuit claiming unfair and devious business practices accusing Schon and two entertainment companies of scheming to break up his marriage to Michaele and engaging in "outrageous & intolerable conduct" afterward as a way of promoting their business interests.

"Virginia Circuit Judge Dennis Hupp twice dismissed Tareq's lawsuits against Mr. Schon, Michaele Salahi and Journey as being deficient in claims, while at the same time allowing Michaele's $850,000 defamation suit against Tareq to move forward. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a resolution was reached on all matters by all parties," said Bruce Blanchard, the attorney who represented Schon and Journey.

As reported by the Northern Virginia Daily News, "After more than an hour of quarreling between attorneys from all sides, Judge Dennis L. Hupp granted a final divorce decree to Tareq and Michaele Salahi and entered a dismissal order for the $50 million personal injury lawsuit that Tareq Salahi had filed against Journey, Schon and Nomata, an entertainment company."

Neal Schon, Michaele Salahi and Journey are very happy with the final decision of the court and that the judge dismissed the order for the $50 million lawsuit and all claims made against them by Tareq Salahi.

Neal & Michaele continue to remain happy & in love and look forward to celebrating their one year anniversary in September. Neal Schon states, "I was never concerned about the $50 million lawsuit as I knew it was always about their divorce. It's over. I win, she's with me. I wish Tareq the best with his candidacy."
