New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Hoganson Media Relations) The recording that launched the music career of critically and commercially successful singer-songwriter John Mark McMillan, The Song Inside The Sounds of Breaking Down, will be independently reissued Sept. 4. Originally sold out of his basement in 2005, the album has been digitally re-mastered and re-mixed and includes the never before released tracks "Hold On" and "Dancing On The Doors." In addition, the re-release will feature the original extended version of "How He Loves," as well as an alternate unreleased version of the congregational favorite.

"How He Loves" was recently listed by Integrity Music as one of the 25 most influential worship songs in the past 25 years, and has spent the last 14 months on CCLI's Top 25 chart, indicating the songs most often used in North American churches. The song has also been covered by David Crowder Band, Kim Walker of Jesus Culture, Todd Agnew, Flyleaf and several others.

Music from The Song Inside The Sounds of Breaking Down will be featured on "Economy Class Fall Tour," which begins Sept. 10. Special guests at select stops along the tour include Kye Kye and Jude Moses. For all the tour dates, ticket information and more details, go to thejohnmark.com.

The tour will also feature songs from McMillan's widely acclaimed album, Economy. Available on Integrity Music and distributed by Provident and RED/Sony, McMillan's Economy became a Top 20 iTunesĀ® overall "LP" hit and was tapped by ABC Network for its Grey's Anatomy promotions. McMillan's "Seen A Darkness" was featured on the 30-second promo for the show's episode, "Hope for the Hopeless" (Season 8: Episode 12), which aired on Thursday, January 12 (www.tvfanatic.com).

"With a cracking voice and soaring, fuzzed-out amplification, McMillan stands out as a true worship pioneer," says RELEVANT magazine of the three-time GMA Dove Award nominee for "New Artist of the Year," "Worship Song of the Year" and "Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year." For those following the North Carolina-based songwriter's steady rise as an artist, McMillan is hailed for his concise, poetic and often "raw" lyrics, with roots in Dylan, Kerouac and Springsteen, but haunted by the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
