REPTAR Gives Away Chrome Sparks' Remix Of New Single 'Houseboat Babies', As A Free Download
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Cooperative Music) Having recently released their debut album "Body Faucet", Reptar today unveil an amazing remix of forthcoming single "Houseboat Babies" from Chrome Sparks. Click the image or link below to listen...

Chrome Sparks uses analogue synths, electronic bass drum kicks, reverbed guitar melodies and a pitch-shifted vocal to add a touch of melancholia to the glorious, sun-strafed pop of the original - akin to a long-lost subversive teen-ballad from a John Hughes meets Drive soundtrack.

Both the original (produced by Ben Allen - Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley, Bombay Bicycle Club) and the remix will be released this coming Autumn via Lucky Number (Darwin Deez, Friends, Caged Animals).

Reptar are Graham Ulicny (Vocals, Guitar), William Kennedy (Keys), Ryan Engelberger (Bass) and Andrew McFarland (Drums) and have been likened to The Talking Heads, Animal Collective, Prince, and The Jackson 5.

"Thrillingly good, off-kilter, art-pop" (Sunday Times)

"There's a psychedelic vibe here, a sense of exploration which is mixed with the bravado, the imagination of Prince" (Clash Magazine)
