Andy Grammer Premieres New Music Video For Third Single "Miss Me" On VH1's "Top 20" Weekly Video Countdown And VH1 Morning Buzz
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ MSO PR) Singer/songwriter ANDY GRAMMER premiered his new music video for "Miss Me" on VH1's "Top 20" weekly video countdown this past weekend. The video has been added to the regular rotation on the music channel and can be seen now here: https://on.vh1.com/Q1L1io. It follows ANDY's prior Top 20charting videos "Fine By Me," which climbed to the #4 spot, and his nearly platinum debut hit "Keep Your Head Up" which peaked at # 2.

The video, shot in downtown Los Angeles with up-and-coming director Justin Baldoni (Jason Derulo, Sarah McLachlan, and Chris Wallace) and featuring actress Briana Evigan (Step Up 2: The Streets) and actor James Kyson (NBC's "Heroes"), follows several different couples dealing with the pain of crumbling relationships and, although each scenario is unique, there is a common thread among them. As VH1 wrote of the video, "We all know the moment. You know, when an epiphany comes floating into your consciousness and you realize it's time to exit stage left of a relationship. The lights come on, and boom, your hand is forced and the decision is pretty much made for you…the singer-songwriter applies a strong visual to a universal event most humans know all too well: the break-up." (9/7/12) As with all GRAMMER's personal, honest and real lyrics, "Miss Me" is a song most everyone can relate to at some point in their lives and offers a guiding 'light' through the darkness into happiness again.

"Miss Me" marks GRAMMER's third single from his self-titled S-Curve debut album, following two back-to-back Top 10 hits at Hot AC with "Keep Your Head Up" and "Fine by Me." The track impacted radio in early August and received overwhelming early support at radio. In its second week of release,"Miss Me" was the #1 most added song at Adult Pop Radio and currently #25 after just 4 weeks.

ANDY's 2012 summer schedule has been busy, performing "Miss Me" on national TV shows CBS' "The Talk" on July 26 and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on August 21 and on local CBS New York "Live From The Couch" August 28. He also sat down with "CBS This Morning" on August 17 to chat about his remarkable career rise from humble beginnings of performing on the streets in Santa Monica, CA to selling well over one-million tracks, performing onstage with Taylor Swift, appearing on an array of national TV shows and selling out venues nationwide. He also appeared on the cover of the national touring trade magazine Pollstar in August (see image below).

In other exciting news, immediately following GRAMMER's current tour with Train, he will perform as part of the One World Concert "Common Ground for Peace" taking place Tuesday, October 9 at Carrier Dome at Syracuse University. The two-day event will include appearances from His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama, internationally renowned news correspondent Ann Curry and special guest emcee Whoopi Goldberg. This historic celebration of peace, music and common ground will also feature performances from Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, Phillip Phillips, Nas, A.R. Rahman, Matisyahu, Natasha Bedingfield, Swizz Beatz, Cyndi Lauper, Bebe Winans, Angélique Kidjo, Voices of Afghanistan, Souad Massi, Engelbert Humperdink, Roberta Flack, David Sanborn, Joanne Shenandoah, David Crosby and Nelly Furtado.
