Ne-Yo Goes To No 1! He Scores Fourth Number 1 UK Single And His First For Motown Records
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music UK) Ne-Yo continues his astounding success in the UK with Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself) going straight to the top of the UK Singles Chart. The first single from forthcoming fifth album R.E.D is his fourth UK #1 and his first since he moved to Motown Records earlier this year.

This legendary label needs no introduction. Motown, founded in 1960, pioneered some of the biggest and best music ever produced. "Let Me Love You is the first UK Number 1 single on Motown in 20 years (the last being Boyz II Men's End of the Road). Now rejuvenated, Motown is set to go from strength to strength, and has an array of brilliant releases on the horizon. Ne-Yo is intrinsically linked with the rebirth of Motown. He is current SVP of A&R, working alongside Barry Weiss, Chairman & CEO of Universal Republic and Island Def Jam Motown and Ethiopia Habtemariam, Senior Vice President of Motown Records.

His solo work has seen over 8 million albums and 23 million singles sold worldwide. In the UK alone, he has sold over 1 million albums and 2 million singles. Including his guest appearances, he has sold a phenomenal 4.4million singles (these include tracks with Mariah Carey, Calvin Harris and David Guetta). The multi-platinum, three-time Grammy award winning artist has also worked with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Usher, Kanye West, Lionel Richie, Beyonce and Rihanna.

The forthcoming release of his new album 'R.E.D.' will undoubtedly cement Ne-Yo as a heavyweight in the R&B and pop worlds. R.E.D's title is an acronym for Realising Every Dream. The title, said Ne-Yo, "came from me stepping outside myself, looking at my life as it is today and realising that every dream I've had from the day I decided I wanted to do music, every dream that I've had from then til now, I'm definitely on the way to realising it." R.E.D is released on November 5th on Motown Records.
