Neon Trees Celebrates First Top 10 Hit On Billboard Hot 100!
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Mercury Music) Multi-platinum Mercury Records group Neon Trees is celebrating this week, as their RIAA platinum single "Everybody Talks" becomes their first single to crack the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 at #6-bullet, in fact, this week's lone new Top 10 entry. After a steady run since April on the Alternative side (where it reached #7), and after rising to #1 at Hot AC, and #1 on Adult Pop Songs, "Everybody Talks" finally breaks inside the Hot 100's coveted Top 10. "Everybody Talks" is the first single from Picture Show, Neon Trees' second album.

The news comes as Neon Trees head out on a month-long U.S. tour with the Offspring, which opened September 8th at the Sands Bethlehem (PA) Events Center, and wraps up on October 6th at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. (Please see complete tour dates below.)

En route next week, while in New York to play a one-off headlining show at Terminal 5 on September 19th, Neon Trees will drop by ABC's Live with Kelly and Michael, to perform "Everybody Talks" and their career-defining debut hit of 2010, "Animal." Next month in Los Angeles, look for Neon Trees on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on October 4th, the night before they play the Hollywood Palladium (with the Offspring) on October 5th.

On October 15th, Mercury Records will release a deluxe [physical only] configuration of Picture Show, featuring four bonus tracks including a 30th anniversary cover of Human League's 1982 classic, "Don't You Want Me."

A new single pick from Picture Show, "Lessons In Love" (All Day, All Night) featuring Kaskade impacted at Alternative radio last week. Meanwhile, "Everybody Talks" continues to receive maximum visibility from nationwide television spots for the Buick Verano sedan, a long-term ad campaign in which lead singer Tyler Glenn makes his "acting debut" as the band rocks into the song on their tour bus. "Everybody Talks" has been on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown after 22 weeks.

Neon Trees took the stage for ABC's Good Morning America Summer Concert Series in Central Park), followed by a return appearance on CBS's The Late Show with David Letterman. The next day, Neon Trees joined an all-star roster who have performed as part of the MLBFanCave.com Concert Series in Greenwich Village. And the day after that, Neon Trees guested on NBC's America's Got Talent.

September 19th in New York: Live with Kelly and Michael in the morning -show at Terminal 5 at night

• October 4th in Los Angeles: Tonight Show with Jay Leno - followed by the Hollywood Palladium with Offspring on October 5th

• October 15th: New deluxe physical version of PICTURE SHOW to be released on Mercury Records, with 4 bonus cuts, including cover of Human League's "Don't You Want Me"
