Legendary Rock Band Lynyrd Skynyrd Premiere "Last Of A Dyin' Breed" Music Video On AOL The Boot
Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Webster & Associates) Following the record-breaking release of their highest charting album since 1977 on August 21, 2012, Lynyrd Skynyrd premiered their music video, "Last of a Dyin' Breed," on AOL The Boot last week. The video is, once again, proving that this legendary rock band is still very much alive and kickin'.

"The title alone says it for us," says lead singer Johnny Van Zant of his iconic group's latest single, "Last of a Dyin' Breed." "There are very few bands that started back in the '70s with the Southern Rock movement that are still out doing dates, and one of them is Lynyrd Skynyrd."

"All the Southern bands that were popular in the '70s are all either gone and died, God bless them, or else they're not playing anymore and the music or their names kind of faded away," adds Skynyrd guitarist and founding member Gary Rossington. "So we're one of the last of a dying breed."

With the help of producer Bob Marlette, the band's last two studio albums became their highest charting albums since the release of Street Survivors in 1977, as Last of a Dyin' Breed (August 21) beat out the success of their 2009 release, God & Guns.
