This young Bradford band have performed live sessions for BBC Introducing and received radio air-play internationally. Their music has featured in the highly acclaimed BBC series Being Human and in a screenplay written and directed by Irvine Welsh. The band have recently finished filming for the ITV2 show "
Switch" which is due to be aired this winter.
redwire have performed alongside Razorlight, The Vaselines,
Bastille and We Are Augustine's. They have also made festival appearances at Leeds/Reading, Live at Leeds and Bingley
Music Live. Their upcoming tour features a support slot with Reverend and The Makers at Leeds University.
Playing with Fire is a sure fire indie hit, showcasing the lead singer's distinctive raw vocal, accompanied by the songs catchy hooks and jerky lead guitar riffs. The lyrics reflect coming to terms with growing up, moving on and strike a fine balance between heartfelt reminiscence and the sardonic side of love, worthy of Morrissey.
