Nashville, Tenn. (Top40 Charts/ Lotos Nile Media) Indie roots rock band Yarn has released the music video for "Annie," the newest single from
Almost Home, released March 20.
"Annie" is currently featured on CMT.com and the band's official YouTube page. "Annie" was directed by Anthony Leo and features cameo appearances by legendary sound engineer and
Almost Home producer Bil VornDick, as well as the band's agent, Jon Bell.
This video release comes on the heels of the band's appearance on CMT's "Concrete Country," which featured Yarn performing songs from
Almost Home, including "Annie," at twilight on the streets of lower Broadway in Nashville, Tenn.
Earlier this year Yarn released the "
Morning Songs" widget to deliver daily video updates to supporters chronicling lead singer
Blake Christiana's second round of daily songwriting. The widget is available on Yarn's website and is embeddable to be featured on other sites.
Yarn will also be launching a Jamplify campaign to empower their many supporters in spreading the word about the video. The campaign will allow users to share the video and in turn qualify to receive prizes from the band. Fan support has been integral to Yarn's continued success, and
Almost Home was funded entirely from contributions made through Kickstarter.
Yarn was formed in 2007 and has spent the past five years touring heavily to support their AMA recognized and Grammy-nominated albums. The Brooklyn born sextet - Christiana (Vocals, Guitar), Trevor MacArthur (Vocals, Guitar), Andrew Hendryx (Mandolin, Harmonica), Rod Hohl (Electric Guitar), Rick Bugel (Bass) and Robert Bonhomme (Drums) - are known for calling out the overproduced pop music of today and revolutionizing roots style music, giving the band a distinct, fresh sound.
