New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blue Pie Records) Blue Pie are excited to announce that Persian singer/guitarist, Faramarz Aslani, is going to be touring Australia at the end of this month. Faramarz can be seen in Sydney on
September 28th/29th, Melbourne on
September 30th, and Brisbane on October 1st.
Faramarz is a well-known singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Iran. He was discovered with his first hit in the late 1970's. Many other international singers have re-recorded his songs in different languages such as Ajda Pekkan in Turkish. Faramarz is a truly talented singer and songwriter, and we'd expect nothing less than fantastic shows worth seeing this month.

Faramarz was born in Tehran, Iran. He is a singer/guitarist who became well-known for his hit song, "Ageh Ye Rooz…" that was released in the late 1970's. For 35 years he has produced and performed various types of music that reaches to different audiences.
In 1979, Faramarz left Iran and headed towards England with his family where he continued to pursue his music career as well as work as a journalist. He received his bachelor's degree at London's University college of Journalism. In 1992 he began a US tour and attracted much attention all over the states. He has, more recently, been touring around the world in North America, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.
Faramarz is the recipient of the Golden Lion Award by the Persian Academy from the International Further Studies
Institute for his musical achievements. His latest album, Khatte Sevvom (The Third Line) was just released in October 2010 and can be heard in his upcoming tour in Australia.
