Over the years, as UK Garage evolved into Grime, Bassline and Funky House and as a lot of the musicians the Garage scene created dropped off; J Freshflourished. He adapted his skills with both turntables and CD Decks, reinvented his game and emerged on the South Coast (predominantly Bournemouth) to cut, chop, mix and scratch the funk out of all things urban.
Fresh is now locked into 2 weekly radio shows on Bournemouth's leading FM + DAB Station, Fire Radio, having networked his way into interviewing and collaborating with some of the biggest names in world music. No stone has been left unturned, as
Fresh has gone in search of fracturing both commercial and underground club nights, so that urban disco discordance rules the roost. He now DJ's for a wealth of UK artists including MAC [So Solid Crew], Killa P + Rikodan [Roll Deep] Twin MC's, TCO and many more, and is the first choice for any urban event held from Brighton to Bournemouth.

Fresh releases monthly free download mixtapes featuring the best new music from the urban / electronic music world, along with exclusive interviews from some of the biggest artists in the game. The latest instalment from
