New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Afrojack) Afrojack one of the most sought-after DJs and producers in the world, will kick off the second leg of his most extensive tour to date this fall, with nearly 20 headlining dates across North America. With two summer hits, including '"
Can't Stop Me" featuring Shermanology, receiving top radio play in the US, and "Rock the House", named the hottest dance song of the summer by Los Angeles Times, the "Jacked" tour will be the grand finale to a very successful year.
Showcasing his massive dance beats, electrical new stage show and previews from his upcoming debut album to the masses with his "Jacked" North America tour, Afrojack will visit major cities and events, including Los Angeles (Palladium), Miami (Mansion), Chicago (Congress Theater), Orlando (EDC) and Las Vegas (XS and Tryst Lounge). Tickets are on sale now and more information is available at Afrojack.com.
Afrojack has been presented with Grammy Awards for Best Remix (Madonna, "Revolver") in 2011 and Best Rap/Hip Hop Track for his co-production duties on Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now" this year. He added to his list of unbeatable remixes with will.i.am's "This is Love", featuring Eva Simons, and his remix of Michael Jackson's "BAD".
Starting off in his birthplace of Spijkenisse, Nick van de Wall aka Afrojack, quickly made a name for himself with a slew of hard-hitting underground releases, before exploding in 2010, solidifying his own imprint, Wall Recordings, as a pioneering club music brand - a value he holds dear as label boss and insures with every release. In the span of less than two years, Afrojack has become one of electronic dance music's major icons.
After achieving underground dominance, he began to team up with pop artists around the world. He worked with David Guetta on his worldwide hit "Titanium", co-produced Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)", co-produced and co-wrote Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now" and wrote, produced and featured on the number one hit "Give Me Everything" with Pitbull, Ne-Yo and Nayer. In addition to all this, his DJ sets have fast become both iconic and unparalleled, providing an explosive take on the current state of dance music across the board.
Joining Afrojack on the "Jacked" tour, for various dates, will be some of the most influential EDM artists in the industry, including R3hab, Sidney Samson, Shermanology, Quintino, Bobby Burns and Zawdi MC.
