'One Day' Is The Brand New Release From A Newly Invigorated KR!
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Sticky Toffee PR) 21 year old KR isn't your typical singer / songwriter. Born and raised in a nondescript town in the heart of the Midlands, he spent his teenage years producing hip hop music on a crude home studio set up, landing his first publishing deal at 18 years of age and remixing & producing for the likes of Lil Wayne, Professor Green, Just Jack, Masta Ace, Skinnyman and Shade Sheist from his bedroom. At a time when chart topping UK urban music was still in its infancy, KR earned his stripes as a respected producer and vocalist in hip hop circles on both sides of the Atlantic.

"Love the music.. the guys definitely got talent"
James Merritt (Kiss FM)

"Great tracks!"
MJ Cole

"I think you're doing great stuff"
Janice Long (BBC Radio 2)

KR soon became discontent with staying rooted in one genre, and decided that in order to become a true front man and solo musical act, he would need to evolve his sound. Inspired by the likes of Thom Yorke, Mike Skinner, Daft Punk, Damon Albarn, MJ Cole, The XX and MGMT, KR now sits somewhere between underground bass music and commercial pop, creating what he describes as "credible music for the masses".

'One Day' is the brand new release from a newly invigorated KR, and is tipped to mark his arrival across both radio and the online blogosphere this winter. Merging atmospheric synth melodies with a dubstep-esque drum beat, the ethereal production of 'One Day' combines seamlessly with KR's relaxed vocal tones to tell the story of an ill-fated, infeasible romance. From the refined verses to the capaciously melancholic chorus, everything about this track is poignantly bittersweet, creating a record as accessible as it is addictive.

'One Day' will be available digitally on 26/11/12 via I Know What I Like Recordings.
