TORONTO, CANADA (Top40 Charts/ ole Official WEbsite) ole is pleased to announce the signing of hit songwriter Brett Jones and the acquisition of his catalogs including Big Borassa Music, Jonebone Music and Brett Jones Music.

Notable copyrights in the catalogs include three #1 Billboard Hot Country Songs: "Start a Band" (Brad Paisley with Keith Urban), "That's How Country Boys Roll" (Billy Currington) and "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" (Justin Moore), three #2 Billboard Hot Country Songs: "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" (Trace Adkins), "Put A Girl In It" (Brooks & Dunn) and "Crazy Town" (Jason Aldean) and the #3 song "What Do Ya Think About That" (Montgomery Gentry) from albums that have collectively sold close to 5 million copies. The song catalog also contains over 500 unexploited copyrights.

Brett Jones joins an ole roster of writers in Nashville which includes many of the top songwriters in the genre including Jeff Coplan (Roots Three/ole), Marty Dodson, Gilles Godard, Matt Nolen, Monty Powell, Dave Turnbull, Ryan Tyndell, Bruce Wallace (Roots Three/ole), Chris Wallin and Charlie Worsham.

Originally from Warm Springs, Georgia, Brett Jones moved to Nashville 20 years ago and signed a publishing deal, writing for country artist Ronnie Milsap's company. Jones' first success in the U.S. country market was his 1995 hit song, "When and Where" by Confederate Railroad. Since then, he has had over 100 major recordings and 14 Top 10 records including seven #1s. Jones recently achieved a rare status in country music songwriting by achieving #1 records in each of the past 3 decades.

Besides being an accomplished songwriter, Jones, who was signed to Warner/Chappell for a couple of years at the turn of the Millennium, has also seen success as a publisher over the past 12 years. He has played a role in the careers of Tony Lane (songwriter), Jason Jones (Warner Bros. recording artist), Dallas Davidson (Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year, 2010) and Sony recording artist, Joanna Smith.
