"Home" (as performed by American Idol Winner Phillip Phillip's) is currently on the following Billboard Charts: Hot Rock Songs Chart at #3, Hot 100 Chart at #19, Mainstream Top 40 Chart at #24, and Hot
Digital Songs Chartat #12.
Holden was also recently on the Hot Rock Songs Chart at #36 with a second song "
The Lost Boy" (as performed by Holden). "
The Lost Boy" was recently featured on the FX television series Sons of Anarchy and is from Holden's 2012 album I Don't Believe You.
"Home" was co-written by
Greg Holden and Pulse writer Drew Pearson and was picked by American Idol mentor / Interscope head Jimmy Iovine for
Phillip Phillips as his coronation song. The song has since been released as a commercial single and was used in the recent Olympics (becoming the unofficial theme song for NBC's coverage of the gold medal winning 2012 U.S. Olympics Women's Gymnastics team), multiple film and television advertisements and will be featured on an upcoming episode of the Fox hit series Glee.
Greg Holden will also have his new song "I Need An Energy" featured on the recently released soundtrack to the film Chasing Mavericks (Relativity Media). He will also perform at the 2013 Sundance ASCAP
Music Café at the Sundance Film Festival the week of January 18th.
